2009 Creativity World Forum: download the reports

During the 2009 Creativity World Forum in Baden-Württemberg (Germany) two Districts of Creativity panels were organized.

In the first DC panel “REGIONAL INITIATIVES FOR CREATIVE INDUSTRIES" international initiatives and approaches to promote the Creative Industries were presented and discussed. Members of the DC-network and other regions exchanged experiences and good practices in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Networks, Internationalization and Innovations in the Creative Industries.

In the second DC panel “ATTRACTIVENESS OF REGIONS" international approaches, political strategies and good practices for integrated location development and governance of creative cities and regions were presented and discussed. Main topics were: What makes creative cities unique? Which location factors make creative regions attractive for talents, creative minds and the creative class? Which relevance have architecture, urban sustainable development, cultural heritage regeneration and creative urban lifestyle as location factors? What are the political agendas of creative regions? Do the creative industries have a key role as a driver of innovation? Good practices of place branding, global positioning, good governance and evaluation of creative regions.
